Mustafa Hassanali
(Artist support MIKITA)

Mustafa Hassanali is Tanzania's premiere fashion designer, known all over Eastern Africa and beyond! His originals have been showcased In Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique, South Africa and Italy. Mustafa Hassanali has achieved a great deal of both Pan African and International recognition. Apart from being Tanzania's top fashion designer, he is also a medical doctor by profession, writer, Stylist, events coordinator, culture vulture and socialite.

Fashion was originally a hobby, but has since become a full-fledged career. His passion for elegance, style, flamboyancy, glamour and glitz has not gone unnoticed by most of East Africa's who's who, especially the high profile elite of Dar Es Salaam Society.

His collections have been shown widely throughout Africa and Italy and his exquisite handwork, detailed beadwork and creative ensemble embellishments have made Mustafa Hassanali a sought after brand name in the couture market.

Mustafa is passionate about his work; loves to dress people, find and bring out the best in them, and he usually create wardrobes not only for his esteemed clientele but also for many corporate companies. However, by no means does that restrict him to this field. His clients come from a broad range of backgrounds, cultures, and occupations.
